π Who Are Scouts?
Every week, Scouts meet in groups called Scout Troops to take on challenges, develop independence, and, in their own small ways, change the world.
At 10th Fulham, Scouts is where adventure grows bigger, braver, and bolder.
We meet at the ECDC Community Hub every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:45 PM.
Spaces are very limited, so donβt wait, email us at info@10thfulham.org or join the waiting list now to save your spot.
We’re currently working on opening a new Scout section at Clem Attlee resident’s Hall, we expect this to happen early 2026. So sign up now and we’ll get in touch soon!
π What Do Scouts Get Up To?
π² Discovering the World
Scouts are explorers, curious, creative, and ready to take on new challenges.
Together, they discover the world on their own terms: learning practical outdoor skills, tackling new experiences, and working as a team to make the most of every opportunity.
Whether itβs camping under the stars, building pioneering projects, learning first aid, or planning their first expedition, Scouts gain the confidence and skills to take on whatever life throws at them.
π Starting Small, Thinking Big
At 10th Fulham, our Scouts believe that small actions can make a big difference.
From community projects and environmental campaigns to simply helping a friend, every positive step matters.
Scouts stand up for what they believe in, bridge divides, and bring people together, continuing a proud Scouting tradition of making the world a better place.
π₯ Listening In, Lending a Hand
Scouts ask questions, share ideas, and say βyesβ to new adventures.
They might be coding a game one week, helping at a community event the next, or roasting marshmallows on camp, whatever the activity, they dive in with enthusiasm and teamwork.
Because at 10th Fulham, fun, challenge, and friendship go hand in hand.
π Bring Your Whole Self to Scouts
We believe that every young person belongs in Scouting.
At 10th Fulham, we welcome Scouts from all backgrounds, faiths (or none), and abilities, including those who are neurodiverse or disabled.
We encourage every young person to bring their whole self to Scouting, because when we stop hiding who we are, life opens up, and the adventure gets even better.
β Who Leads the Scouts?
Each Scout Troop is led by trained adult volunteers who share their skills, support young people, and keep everyone safe.
Traditionally, Scout Leaders were nicknamed βSkipβ (short for Skipper, the captain of a ship), though these days, many leaders go by their real names.
Within the Troop, Scouts belong to smaller teams called Patrols, led by a Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader.
Patrols encourage teamwork, leadership, and friendship, they gather together at meetings, camps, and expeditions to support one another and share in the adventure.
