Whether it’s a first night away from home or a week-long summer expedition, our camping trips are where confidence grows, laughter echoes, and lifelong memories are made. We see Cubs transform from curious explorers into capable young leaders, muddy, happy, and proud of what they’ve achieved. For us, camp isn’t just an activity; it’s where the magic of Scouting truly comes alive.
🌲 Adventures Under Canvas: 10th Fulham Scouts on Camp!
There’s nothing quite like a 10th Fulham camp. From the moment the tents go up to the last sleepy hot chocolate by the campfire, our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts throw themselves into adventure, teamwork, and a whole lot of laughter.
Over the past year, our young people have camped in sunshine, rain, and everything in between — from the wide-open fields of Gilwell Park to the woodlands of Walton Firs. Each trip has its own magic, but they all share one thing: that unmistakable 10th Fulham spirit.
🔥 Campfire Connections
Evenings at camp are always special. Whether it’s singing songs, telling stories, or just toasting marshmallows, our campfires bring everyone together. It’s where friendships grow, where new Cubs find their confidence, and where leaders secretly compete for the best hot chocolate recipe.
🏕 Learning by Doing
Camping gives our young people the chance to learn practical skills — from putting up tents and cooking outdoors to lighting fires safely and navigating with a map and compass. But more importantly, it teaches teamwork, resilience, and independence.
We see Cubs who were once nervous about staying away from home return from camp beaming with pride, ready for the next adventure.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper camp without a few muddy boots, soggy socks, or a missing tent peg or two! But that’s part of the fun — and part of what makes Scouting so special. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
